Ouch

The Safety Pin has become a symbol of understanding and hope. It was explained to me as declaring the person who wears it "safe to talk to". They won't pass judgment or hate you for being who you are. That's how I see it. I try not to judge. I try not to hate. I'm not perfect. But I try. 

With this I was trying to illustrate that safety pins can wound too. I saw a girl not too long ago wearing a safety pin at Wal-Mart. She was spouting hate about something or another (probably Trump supporters). Hate goes both ways. Try not to poke yourself.
